Insects are particularly sensitive to aromatic molecules because they communicate essentially through chemical messages. Because of this, various plants produce aromas in order to attract them and make to participate them to their fecundation process. Others, on the contrary, in order to keep them away, produce repellent and insecticide essential oils that are capable to disturb to their nervous system or their enzymatic processes.
We can also use the essential oils of these plants in order to protect ourselves against those insects that are thirsty of our blood, diffusing the aromas in the atmosphere or rubbing them on our body.
Mosquitoes are the most common and annoying of these small enemy, but they are also among the most dangerous for our health. Malaria is transmitted by the Anopheles mosquito that lives in more than one hundred countries and continues to spread to others and various serious diseases such as the Denghe fever is transmitted by these small “sharks”. Mosquitoes are not only a disturbance to us but they are a serious danger and the best prevention in their case is to keep them away as far as possible.
In the last few decades the aromatherapy researches have demonstrated that the power of the essences is not limited to repelling insects, some essential oils can also neutralize their poisons by molecular combination and can kill viruses and the microbes that they transport.
The essence that possesses all these property is lavender, and it is the base of “Anti sharks”. The others ingredients (geranium, mint, etc...) reinforce its repellent property. Geranium possesses moreover important anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic property (cortisone like).
All these essences are without irritating effect on the skin and therefore “Anti sharks” can be spread on the body for a most efficient protection.
How to use it
In order to keep away mosquitoes from the room pour two drops of “Anti sharks” in your diffuser.
For a complete protection and in case of species particularly aggressive or against other insects (fleas, ticks, lices etc...), spread from 2 to 5 drops of the essence with a little oil on the parts of the body threatened.
As first aid on the poisonous punctures of mosquitoes, wasps, spiders, poisonous fishes, jellyfishes, etc..., apply one drop of “Anti sharks” on the parts of the body threatened.
For allergies to pollens, dust, cats and acarus, breathe one drop of “Anti sharks” in a handkerchief and apply an other non the neck .
In order to eliminate the acarus of the mattress, spray every week 5 drops of “Anti sharks” diluted in alcohol. In order to eliminate them from the carpets spray in the air a mixture (well shake) of 5 drops of “Anti sharks” and half glass of water, just after using the vacuum cleaner. This will make all dusts fall down and will kill the acarus.
Warnings:
“Anti sharks” is not a medicine and does not replace the medical cures when they are necessary. Avoid the contact with the eyes, if that had to happen, wash immediately with kitchen oil, NOT WITH WATER. Keep away from the reach of children.
